Popular Nigerian actress, Hadiza Abubakar, has shared shocking details about her past relationship with an ex-boyfriend who was unfaithful throughout their five-year relationship.
Speaking during an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Hadiza revealed that despite being loyal, she endured betrayal and emotional manipulation.
“He is a Yoruba man from Ekiti, and he loves flirting. I dated him for five years. His parents were one of the reasons I stayed that long because they were good people. They pleaded with me to be patient and not get angry easily. If an elder pleads with me, won’t I listen? Of course, I did. But the day I left him, he didn’t see it coming.”
Hadiza clarified that she never lived with him but spent a lot of time at his place. “No, I had my own house. But if you ask my parents, they will tell you I was staying at his place.”
She recounted disturbing incidents where other girls wore her clothes. “If I went to a club with him, I would see another girl wearing my clothes I had left at his place. It happened twice. The first time, it was a jacket. The girl’s saving grace was that she wore something underneath. Another time, it happened on a cap. I followed the girl into the cap, it was the same girl.”
“It wasn’t just one girl, he had numerous girls. He wanted to ruin me. I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, am not 100% perfect, but am responsible. But my ex-boyfriend wanted to ruin me. He even tried to push me into drinking. He used to say I wouldn’t be able to hold myself when I go out with him.”
