WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons depart for Lisbon Saturday, hold final preparation in Morocco

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will depart the country on Saturday for Lisbon ahead of their international friendly against Portugal.

Justine Madugu’s side will face the Europeans next Monday.

According to the Super Falcons Show, the players and their officials will then proceed to Morocco the following day for their final preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

While in Morocco, they will take on the Black Princesses of Ghana in another friendly.
The Super Falcons are aiming to win a record-extending tenth title in Morocco. Drawn in Group B alongside Tunisia, Botswana, and Algeria, they will play their opening three matches at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
Their first game is against Tunisia on Sunday, July 6.
