FIFA Announces Ticket Sales For 2026 World Cup

FIFA Confirms Date, Venue For 2026 World Cup Draw

FIFA has unveiled its ticketing plans for the 2026 World Cup, setting initial prices for group-stage matches as low as $60, while seats for the final could cost as much as $6,710.

The world football governing body confirmed on Wednesday that the first phase of ticket sales will open this month, with prices expected to fluctuate depending on demand. Fans will have the option to buy single-game tickets, venue-specific passes, or team-specific packages.

The 2026 edition will be the biggest World Cup in history, with 48 teams competing across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.

FIFA announced that supporters with Visa cards can register for a FIFA ID to enter a presale draw scheduled for September 10-19. Successful applicants will then be allowed to purchase tickets starting October 1.

To ensure fair distribution, sales will be limited to four tickets per person per match, and no individual will be allowed to buy more than 40 tickets across the tournament.

Additional sales phases are already on the calendar. Registration for phase two will take place between October 27 and 31, with sales running from mid-November into early December.

A third sales window will open shortly after the tournament draw, which is set for December 5 in Washington. From then, fans will be able to apply for specific matches.

In the run-up to the tournament, leftover tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis.

FIFA also plans to roll out supporter packages, including tickets for fans who wish to sit alongside fellow supporters of their team, and conditional tickets that guarantee a seat should their team advance into the knockout rounds.

An official resale platform will also be launched to give fans a safe way to exchange tickets.

With demand expected to soar, FIFA’s staggered sales process is designed to give fans around the world multiple opportunities to secure their place at what will be the biggest World Cup ever staged.
