In an interview with TV360 Nigeria, Adelu said when he first arrived in Libya, he was detained in a trafficking den, tortured and forced to call someone who could pay a ransom for his release.
Adelu said after he was finally released, he went to a place known as “camp” in Libya. He said he was forced to take up odd jobs such as cleaning mortuaries and burying bodies of people who drowned in the Mediterranean sea.
In Adelu’s words: “They have to pick us from that place, they take us to the mortuary to go and clear the mortuary. Sometimes when a boat capsizes in the sea, they will come to the camp, pick us to go and bury those Nigerians or those citizens that died”.…CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>
