Apostle Johnson Suleman, the senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, has cautioned Christians against dismissing strange phone calls as mere mistakes, warning that many are satanic invocations disguised as random dials. “Many of you have received calls from strange numbers, and when you hear them speaking in an unknown language, you keep shouting, ‘Wrong number!’” Suleman said. “It’s not a wrong number. It’s a deliberate satanic invocation. They have gotten your number in the realms of the spirit and are using it to make pronouncements.”
The cleric recounted his personal experience, explaining how he once received such a call. Instead of hanging up, he immediately began praying in tongues, cutting off any spiritual pronouncements being made.
According to Suleman, ignoring these calls or dismissing them as harmless exposes believers to subtle manipulations. He advised Christians to cultivate spiritual alertness and understand that physical realities often have spiritual roots.
“Don’t be casual with spiritual warfare,” he warned. “When you receive such calls, don’t waste your time shouting ‘wrong number.’ Go into tongues. Counter every evil declaration. There’s a dimension of wickedness today that is highly technical and deceptive.”
Suleman added that spiritual vigilance is no longer optional, urging believers to deepen their prayer lives and develop discernment. “We live in a time where spiritual attacks can come through dreams, food, conversations, and even phone calls. Be watchful,” he concluded.
