A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Abdulmumin Jibrin, has refused to rule out the possibility that former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, may still join the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Wednesday during a Channels Television interview, Jibrin stated that Kwankwaso has always maintained that his doors are always open to political discussions.
Naija News reports that the Kano lawmaker hinted that the possibility of the former NNPP presidential candidate teaming up with President Bola Tinubu in the APC is very much open.
“As far as that [joining APC] is concerned, he has always maintained that his doors are open, our doors are open for discussions. Everything is a possibility,” he said.
