Nollywood actress, Rose Odika, has shared how her marriage suffered because of her husband’s lack of trust in her career. Rose recounted that after their wedding, her husband insisted she quit acting, a decision she initially agreed to in order to make the marriage work. At his suggestion, she managed a nursery school he established for her. However, she later realized that acting was her true passion and pleaded with him to allow her return to filmmaking, explaining that it was vital to her happiness. Although he eventually permitted her, challenges persisted.
The actress explained that her husband would storm film sets and stop her from completing roles, even dragging her away during crucial scenes. She recalled a particular incident where he disrupted a set while she was acting in a romantic scene with another actor, leading to an unfinished production.
