Transfer: Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham battle for Onyedika

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are battling for the signature of Club Brugge star, Raphael Onyedika.

Onyedika has been consistently linked with a move away from Club Brugge following his impressive displays for the club.

The Nigerian won more admirers with his superb performance in the UEFA Champions League last season.

According to Transferfeed, the two clubs are keen to sign the midfielder this summer.

West Ham want him to replace Czech international, Tomas Soucek, who is on his way out of the club.

Tottenham on the other hand want to beef up their squad after finishing 16th in the Premier League last season.

Serie A giants AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in the player.

Onyedika was close to leaving Club Brugge for Turkish club, Galatasaray last summer but was persuaded to stay at the club.

The 24-year-old has two years left on his contract with Club Brugge.

He joined Nicky Hayen’s side from Danish outfit, FC Midtylland in 2022.
