Ezekwesili Reacts As She Shares Photos Of Natasha Smiling After Resuming At The National Assembly

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has taken to her official X account to react after sharing photos of the lawmaker representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti at the National Assembly.

Oby Ezekwesili made the photos available on her official X account on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The photos surfaced after Natasha Akpoti resumed her duty at the National Assembly for the first time after her six months suspension.

In the photos that surfaced online, the Kogi lawmaker was seen smiling while sitting.

Reacting, Oby Ezekwesili congratulated the Kogi lawmaker. She said Natasha Akpoti has become a symbol of the fortitude and resilience necessary to fight injustice in the country.

Oby Ezekwesili told the leadership of the Senate to stop every form of intimidation against her now that she has resumed.
