What Makes This More Embarrassing Is That Same DSS Which Screened Out El-Rufai Cleared Nnaji- Atiku Reveals

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official X account on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 to react after Uche Nnaji resigned from his position as the MInister of Innovation, Science and Technology.

Atiku’s reaction came after Uche Nnaji explained the reason why he resigned from his position.

According to Premium Times, Uche Nnaji said that;

“My decision to step aside is therefore a personal choice, not an admission of guilt, but rather a principled decision to respect the sanctity of due process and to preserve the integrity of the judicial proceedings currently before the court”.

Reacting, Atiku Abubakar described the whole situation as embarrassing. He said the same DSS that screened out the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai cleared Uche Nnaji.

Atiku Abubakar, however, stated that an investigation should be conducted on the academic records of all members of the Tinubu’s administration.

According to Atiku Abubakar on his official X account;

“What makes this even more embarrassing is that the same Department of State Services (DSS) which screened out Mallam Nasir el-Rufai for alleged security concerns is the very agency that cleared this same character, Uche Nnaji. The DSS truly deserves our flowers for this national disgrace”.
