There Was A Day My Ex-husband Beat Me Up,I Was On Floor,He Came &Said”It’s You Making Me Do It”—Emma

Suzanne Emma, an entrepreneur and ex-wife of Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, has alleged that she suffered repeated domestic abuse during her marriage to the actor.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo on With Chude, Emma said there was a day Emeka Ike beat her up and left lying on the floor. She said he later came back to her and told her that she was the one making him beat her

Emma said the last time Emeka Ike beat her, she was almost paralyzed. She said it was at that point she realized she could no longer remain in the marriage.

In Emma’s words: “There was a day that he had finished beating me and I was on the floor looking at him and then he was walking away, he came back and said, ‘It’s not me, it’s you making me do it’. People will say it is a man’s world and I didn’t think of myself until the last time that he beat me up and I was almost paralyzed. That was when I decided that I need to go”
