The Barber Said The Bullets Hit All Of Them, But He Pretended To Be Dead After He Was Shot- Olafeso

Punch News reported on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, that Duuni Olafeso — a resident of the Cele Nica community in Ojo Local Government Area — said a barber who survived a recent attack told them the bullets struck all three victims but that he survived by feigning death after being shot in the back.

According to the account, the robbers arrived at about 9:00 p.m. and immediately entered the barber’s shop to rob those inside.

Neighbours heard gunfire, ran to the scene and found the victims lying in pools of blood.

Olafeso said roughly three men carried out the robbery. The wounded barber, now hospitalised, told investigators that two of the assailants posed as customers, forced everyone to lie on the floor and began taking money and phones.

When one customer, identified as Chijindu, said he only had N1,000 for a haircut, the third man stationed at the door became furious and ordered the others to “waste them.”

The robbers then opened fire, striking all three; the barber said he had been shot in the back but survived by playing dead.

State Police Public Relations Officer Abimbola Adebisi was contacted for comment but could not be reached
