According to a report by the Punch News on Sunday, October 12, 2025, Annastasia Kinse, a native of Plateau State who was dismissed from the Congregation of Mother of Perpetual Help of the Archangels Sisters, has revealed that she was dismissed because she reported a case of harassment, and the report did not sit well with the vice chancellor and others.
Annastasia Kinse shared that her congregation issued a clarification letter on Facebook and WhatsApp stating she was dismissed, but she didn’t receive the official notice until September 24. Rumours had already spread due to a circulated letter from Rev. Fr Solomon Andrew Olumekhor. In response, she made a public Facebook post to explain the situation.
She said, “What truly happened was that I reported a case of harassment at Veritas University. My report didn’t sit well with the vice chancellor and others.”
Annastasia Kinse revealed that she reported a sexual harassment case at Veritas University involving her head of department. Despite having evidence, she faced silence, intimidation, and eventual dismissal instead of support. Her goal was to protect other women, not to ruin reputations.
