According to Daily Trust, The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the ticket prices for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), set to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. Football fans across Africa are gearing up to watch the continent’s top teams compete in one of the most prestigious tournaments on the continent.

 

CAF has categorized tickets into three pricing levels to accommodate different seating preferences and match stages. For group stage matches, Category 1 tickets are priced at 400 Moroccan Dirhams (approximately ₦68,380), while Category 2 tickets cost 250 MAD (₦44,450) and Category 3 tickets are priced at 100 MAD (₦17,100). Top fixtures, including the highly anticipated Nigeria vs. Tunisia clash, fall under Category 1, reflecting their expected demand.

Ticket sales began on Monday, October 13, 2025, with an exclusive 48 hour pre sale window for Visa cardholders. The general public sale is ongoing through CAF’s official ticketing platform at tickets.cafonline.com. Fans are also required to register for a Fan ID via the YALLA App, which will also facilitate travel visas for international visitors.

 

CAF has emphasized the importance of early planning, as the tournament coincides with the festive season, a peak travel period in Morocco. Accommodation and transport are expected to be in high demand, and fans are advised to book early to avoid last-minute challenges.
